Cardiac Falls occurs in the Hearty Creek Valley and is the better of the two small waterfalls located on a tributary stream that empties the drainage to the north of the lake. The small creek drops 84' in two tiers of 69' and 15'. The area is surrounded by ferns and small brush that add an amazing amount of greenery to the scene. While not a huge waterfall, this is a very pretty spot and certainly worth the side trip if you are planning on visiting Heart Lake. |

| DIRECTIONS - From Lower Cardiac Falls, continue upstream another 800' or so to this waterfall. If you make it that far, be sure to finish the climb up to Heart Lake itself. |
