Eagle Falls occurs where the Skykomish River drops 28' into a really cool gorge.  The river has cut the rocks into a wide variety of holes, swirls, and stair steps that the kids will really enjoy climbing around on.   The sun usually shines right on the falls, making it difficult to photograph.

DIRECTIONS - Drive east Highway 2 for about 4 miles past the town of Index.  Park at a big pullout on the south side of the highway near mile marker 39.  A short trail leads to views of the falls.

NEARBY WATERFALLS - Bridal Veil Falls, Klinger Grotto Falls
