The creek that drains SMC Lake contains a long series of waterfalls as it nears the North Fork of the Snoqualmie.  This one is fairly difficult to access and suffers from severe foreshortening when viewed from the base.  The waterfall consists of three horsetailing drops of 40, 20, and 20 feet in height.  There is said to be another waterfall further upstream, unofficially named SMC Plateau Falls.  Just below the old road is another waterfall.  I haven't had a good view, but it appears to consist of a 100' plunge, followed by another tier of unknown height.  I will investigate this waterfall next time I'm in the area.

DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to SMC Falls.  Continue walking along the road for a short distance to an overgrown road heading up and to the left.  Follow this very rugged road to its end at the creek.  The falls can be partially seen from the roadbed and climbing upstream will give you a clear view.  Beginning on 1/1/2012, all visitors to the Snoqualmie Tree Farm will need a $75 annual permit, making access to this waterfall much more expensive.
