Located right next door to Middle Sholes Creek Falls, Lasiocarpa Falls provides a little sugar to that spice.  The small creek that drains off Lasiocarpa Ridge begins its descent towards Sholes Creek with a 45' tall horsetail.  Below there it cascades for about 40 vertical feet before finishing with two back-to-back 30' drops.  The whole series of drops totals about 145' in height in a very pretty, gentle drop that contrasts well with the powerful plunge on Sholes Creek.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get a clear view.  The bottom of the falls is too close to Middle Sholes Creek Falls to making viewing it from there possible and the brush lining the creek, combined with the way it drops, makes seeing the falls very difficult.  To see the largest drop, one would have to cross the creek above the falls (which looks very doable by staying atop the ridge) and then scrambling along the top of the cliff.  This might be pretty sketchy though.  The one view I found was standing directly on top of the lowest tier, starring right into the face of the second tier up.  From there the big top tier can be seen through the brush.

DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Middle Sholes Creek Falls.  Lasiocarpa Falls drops into Sholes Creek on the opposite side of the canyon.  The only view I found of the falls involved a very brushy climb down to a small ledge directly atop the lowest tier.  From the base of the two waterfalls, at least the lower half should be clearly visible.
