Barometer Creek runs over a seemingly never-ending series of waterfalls and cascades as it makes its journey from the slopes of Barometer Mountain to the North Fork of the Nooksack.  Along the way, it drops over three major waterfalls.  Middle Mercury Falls is the tallest of the bunch and also the only one that can't be seen clearly (at least as far as I could tell).  The creek drops over a horsetailing drop of about 90' in height.

DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Lower Mercury Falls.  Continue to climb upstream until you see the middle falls.  The only view I could find was covered with trees and at the top of a 50' cliff.  It might be possible to scramble upstream from just above the lower falls and get a view but you'll have to battle some nasty stickers on the way.
