Right off the bat let me tell you that you should not visit this waterfall.  While it's very pretty, the difficulty of reaching it is not worth the trouble.  The trip involves 4 miles of walking a logging road (each way) and then an extremely strenous bushwhack down into the canyon.  Then you have to do it all again.

Middle Mill Creek Falls is a super pretty 25' tall block shaped waterfall located in the extremely deep canyon of Mill Creek.  Upstream are a long series of cascades that could, theoretically, be added to the height of this waterfall.  However, these casades are covered with logs, boulders, and various other pieces of debris.  About 500' upstream, the creek turns a corner and runs through a short section of canyon that is filled with a dozen boulders that are the size of small houses.  It's pretty impressive.

Mill Creek appears to harbor an upper falls that I somehow missed on my trip (probably because the canyon is so impenetrable).  There is also a very tall main falls a short distance downstream from this one.  On the same trip where I discovered this waterfall, I stood atop what appears to be a 200' tall waterfall but I couldn't get a view.  Plans are in the works for a trip to this big waterfall by coming in from below later in the year.  Stay tuned!

DIRECTIONS - Drive out South Skagit Highway.  Park at the gated logging road just west of Mill Creek and walk up the road for 3.5 miles.  Take a left at the first major fork and another left at the next fork.  Follow this new road to its end.  From here, the waterfall is about a quarter of a mile away, but you'll have to climb very steeply downhill for about 500 vertical feet through a mess of small trees leftover from past logging.
