CLEAR LAKE FALLS

YAKIMA COUNTY

DIRECTIONS - Head east on Highway 12 over White Pass.  Turn right onto Tieton Road #12 a few miles after passing the Clear Creek Falls viewing area.  In 4/10 of a mile, turn left onto Clear Lake Road #740.  Stay straight at the next little junction.  The falls are upstream from the bridge over the creek and are easily seen.  The lower tier can be viewed by walking down towards the river from just beyond the bridge.

NEARBY WATERFALLS - Clear Creek Falls, Devils Maw Falls, Lava Creek Falls, Upper Clear Creek Falls, Yellowjacket Point Falls As the North Fork of the Tieton River leaves Clear Lake, it runs over a long series of cascades that can be very impressive when the creek is running high.  The falls are in the middle of the campground so you will not be alone at the falls.  It's worth a stop on your way over the pass but nothing to get too excited about.
