HINTER FALLS |
|
|
DESCRIPTION – Hinter Falls is one of several very tall waterfalls
that drop down the east side of East Fork Miller Valley. The waterfall drops a total of 241’. The first drop is a wide, fan-shaped
drop of 168’ that starts out by dropping at a shallow angle and then
gets steeper as it falls. Below
there the creek drops two more times in a very narrow slot canyon before
temporarily flattening out. It is
difficult to get to the falls, and even more difficult and dangerous to get a
view. DIRECTIONS – Because of the difficulty and danger of
getting to Hinter Falls, we will not be posting specific directions. ADDITIONAL PHOTOS – |
