DIRECTIONS - Drive east along I-84 and exit at the Bridal Veil exit.  Turn left (east) and drive along the highway for a few miles to the parking lot for the falls.

NEARBY WATERFALLS - Horsetail Falls, Latourell Falls, Shady Creek Falls, Sheppards Dell Falls, Waukeena Falls Multnomah Falls and Snoqualmie Falls are the two most popular falls in the Northwest.  Multnomah is a two-tiered falls with a 542' first drop, followed by a 69' lower tier.  A short, easy trail leads to the Benson Bridge above the second tier for some wonderful views.  The trail then continues to the top and on to other falls.  Be sure to visit the Lodge while you're there.  It's a wonderful, historic building with a gift shop and restaurant.   Not much else needs to be said about Multnomah Falls.  It's one of the best, as evidenced by its #2 spot on our Northwest Top 10 list.
