NEARBY WATERFALLS Spokane Falls is the only waterfall I know that is best viewed from a gondola.  The falls are located at the former site of the World's Fair in Spokane, WA at Riverfront Park.  The Spokane River dumps over several waterfalls in the city, with Spokane Falls being the largest.  Much of the water is diverted for Hydro power so the falls are much better during the wet season.  Be sure to ride the historic Looff Carousel if you come to Riverfront Park.  It's one of only two on the west coast that lets you grab a brass ring.
