ADORATION FALLS
RATING - 36.0

Adoration Falls

Hearty Creek begins its life in Heart Lake and proceeds to drop over eleven waterfalls on its way to the South Fork, culminating in Bridal Veil Falls.  As one progresses downstream, the names of the waterfalls follow the pattern from caring about someone as a person to falling more and more in love, eventually ending in marriage at Bridal Veil.

Adoration Falls is the fourth in the love series and occurs where the creek breaks out of the meadows and begins a steep descent.  The falls consist of three tiers totalling 70' in height.  There are a lot of loose boulders laying around the waterfall, but the drops are all bedrock based.  If you make it this far, be sure to continue just upstream to the gorgeous meadows.

DIRECTIONS - From Infatuation Falls, continue upstream along the edge of the creek for about a quarter of a mile.  You'll have to climb 300' in the process but there are plenty of pieces of shrubbery to hang onto if you need it.  There is another drop just downstream that is nice to look at, but was not bedrock based so it didn't qualify as a waterfall for the purposes of this website.
