Big Four Mountain has several tall, lacy waterfalls that drop off its northern face. The largest (and further east) of these falls is called Rucker Falls. Big Four Falls is the combination of the rest of the falls. The falls are quite seasonal but when they're flowing well they can be quite a sight. |
DIRECTIONS - Drive
east of Granite Falls along the Mountain Loop Highway for about 25 miles. Exit at
the Big Four Picnic area where the falls can be seen to the south. A trail leads to
the Ice Caves and closer views of the falls. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Rucker Falls |
