Brotherhood
Falls occurs on a small stream which I believe is located on the property of
nearby Camp Brotherhood. The falls begin as the creek makes a small
plunge before striking the bedrock and fanning out in a gorgeous fashion.
It appears the falls run most of the year but I can't imagine there being
much water running over it by the end of summer. There is an amazingly
mossy tree on the right side of the falls that could make for some great
photo opportunities with enough scrambling around. If I figure out
where the trail on the south side of the creek begins I'll update the
directions.

DIRECTIONS -
Take the Lake McMurray exit off of I-5 just south of Mt. Vernon and head
east on 534 to Lake McMurray. Take a right onto Highway 9 heading
south. Just south of the lake you will pass a road leading to Camp
Brotherhood. The falls are located on a small stream just passed the
road. Park and head upstream about 500' to the falls. There is a
trail on the north side of the canyon but I'm not sure where it starts
(probably at the camp). You can follow the trail right to the base.
I just bushwhacked up the south side of the creek which was fairly easy as
well. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Bulson Creek Falls, Pilchuck Falls |
