DAVIS MOUNTAIN FALLS
DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Lower Davis Creek Falls. Continue along the road for another couple miles until you see the falls off to the right at a sharp switchback (look for a big boulder just off the right side of the road). You can scramble up the creek for a clearer view. | |
LOCATION - Randle/Packwood area TYPE - Horsetail HEIGHT - 80' WIDTH - 15' |
RATING - TYPE OF APPROACH - Roadside DIFFICULTY - Very Easy |
NEARBY WATERFALLS - Hopkins Creek Falls, Lower Davis Creek Falls | This little creek drops over an 80' ledge creating one of the prettier waterfalls you'll ever see. Comparisons to Feature Show Falls and Oregon's Fairy Falls would not be too far off. The cliff behind the falls is covered with green moss which really adds to the already beautiful falls. The falls are so pretty I woke up early on the last day of our Memorial Day trip to drive back up for better pictures. |
