This little creek drops over a pretty 45' tall horsetail and then drops about 4 more feet in another little plunge. Next to the falls is a cool little cave called the Hobbit Hole. There used to be a little ladder leading into the cave but it was destroyed during a recent flood. |
DIRECTIONS - Take Highway 2 into Monroe and head north on Woods Creek Road. Follow this road for 13 miles (keep an eye on the street signs) and turn right onto SE Lake Roesiger Rd. Turn right at the Y in the road and turn right onto Monroe Camp Road in a couple miles. Follow this road to the end where it is gated. Park and walk up the road for about 1 1/3 miles to where the falls can be seen through the trees. The falls are on the second creek that you cross. | |
