This waterfall occurs just off of Mosquito Lake Road. From the road, you can see a horsetail drop somewhere around 70' tall. I assume there are more tiers to the falls that can't be seen from the road. I plan on trying to get to the base of the falls in the future but I need to find out who owns the land first. The creek the falls lie on is fairly small, but I haven't seen it dry out, even during the late summer months. |
| DIRECTIONS - Drive
along Highway 9 and turn onto Mosquito Lake Road. About a mile north of the bridge
over the Middle Fork of the Nooksack, the road cuts through a sharp s-turn in the
community of Happy Valley. The falls can be seen on the hillside to the east of the
road. I assume a closer approach is possible, but I'm not sure about property
