HEART LAKE FALLS |
RATING - 15.0
|
The small stream that drains Heart Lake drops over this waterfall as it exits the lake. The falls cascade over bedrock for 87' before disappearing into a massive boulder field. The waterfall is fairly unremarkable and probably runs really close to dry late in the summer, but if you're planning on visiting the lake, you will literally climb right up the side of this one. It's not worth the effort just to see this waterfall. Consider it a bonus to the nice lake and the fine collection of falls downstream. |

DIRECTIONS - From Friendship Falls, continue upstream for another 1/2 mile or so to this waterfall. The creek will fork just above Friendship Falls so take the lefthand fork to reach this waterfall and the lake. |
