This very nice falls are located in the town of Newhalem along Highway 20.  A short trail leads over a suspension bridge and then along the trail to the falls which are difficult to see because of the extremely narrow gorge they run through.  At night, there are lights on the waterfall that make for a unique and magical experience.  The lights change color, making it look like the water is changing color.  If you happen to be in town at night, be sure to check this one (or watch the video below).

DIRECTIONS - Take HWY 20 east to the town of Newhalem.  Turn at the second right, just before the highway turns to the left and park in the little lot.  Walk across the suspension bridge and follow the trail to the falls.

Ladder Creek Falls with Lights

First time I've seen Ladder Creek Falls with the lights on it. I thought it was pretty magical and way better than I had anticipated.
