LOWER CAMP ROBBER CREEK FALLS |

RATING - 34.0
VR - 6 (Med) HR - 4.0 SR - 10/20 TYPE OF APPROACH - Trail DIFFICULTY - Easy LOCATION - Miller River Road TYPE - Cascades HEIGHT - 70' WIDTH - 30' |
Camp Robber Creek is crossed on the Lake Dorothy Trail. Located around the bridge is this waterfall. The falls begin with some cascades that can be easily viewed from the bridge. The creek then continues to cascade for another 50 vertical feet. The drop above is the largest single drop at about 30' tall. The individual tiers of the falls cannot be viewed in conjection with each other, creating a disappointing situation. There appears to be a fairly large upper falls near the headwaters of Camp Robber Creek as well. |
DIRECTIONS - Turn onto Miller River Road near the town of Skykomish.
Follow the road to its end at the Lake Dorothy Trail. Park and hike
along the trail for about a mile to the bridge over Camp Robber Creek.
A short scramble off-trail will lead to views of the main section of the
falls. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Lower Florence Falls |
