LOWER WARM CREEK FALLS
DIRECTIONS - Head east on the Mt. Baker Highway and turn south onto Mosquito Lake Road. Soon you will drive through the community of Happy Valley. Just after leaving that area, turn left onto Middle Fork Road. Around 8 miles down the road you will cross over Warm Creek (2nd concrete bridge on the road). The creek is obvious because it runs through a gorgeous collection of moss-covered stones. The falls are about 100' upstream after it turns away from the road. | |

NEARBY WATERFALLS - Lower Wallace Creek Falls, Warm Creek Falls | As a waterfall, Lower Warm Creek Falls isn't too much to get excited about. But as a quiet place to relax and contemplate or a spot to take some great creek pictures this is perfect. The falls themselves drop over 3 separate drops a total of about 25' amidst large, mossy boulders. I originally thought this creek was Falls Creek but I recently figured out that it's actually Warm Creek. The good news is we now have one less Falls Creek Falls in the state. Always a good thing. |
