The North Fork of Coal Creek drops over this absolutely stunning little waterfall surrounded by a bright orange rock wall. The trail recently received some nice renovations including a couple benches right in front of the falls. In lower water the falls loses its fan shape and becomes an even prettier falls. There are several other small waterfalls in the park so one could easily occupy several hours visiting them all. |
DIRECTIONS - Head
east on I-90, take exit #13, and turn right towards Newcastle. Park at the Red Town
Trailhead on the left side of the road in 3 miles. The trail is across the road and
the falls are around 1/4 mile down the trail. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Coal Creek Falls |
