The first time we saw Rusty Falls was on July 4th, 2007. There was not a whole lot of water coming down, but the falls were obviously quite tall. Micah named the falls after the rust colored rocks at the bottom. If you can catch this one during the wetter season, it is pretty impressive dumping down right next to Jackman Creek Road with a considerable amount of water. On my most recent trip I was disappointed to find that the trees around the bottom of the falls have fallen and now lay across the lower tier. This is ugly and unfortunate so hopefully someone who needs some firewood will come in and take care of that problem. |
DIRECTIONS - Take
HWY 20 east from I-5 to just past Concrete. Turn left onto Jackman Creek Road.
The falls are around 6 miles up the road and drop down right next to it. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Little Webber Falls, Webber Falls |
