Terrace
Falls occurs where a small, unnamed stream plunges over the
side of a large cliff and directly into the Stillaguamish
River. While the creek is small, it appears to run
year round. Private property surrounds the best views
of the falls, but it can be seen from the road without much
effort. The best view of the falls would be from a
boat in the river if you can pull that off. Thanks to
Ryan Foster for telling me about this one.

DIRECTIONS - Jordan Road runs between the towns of Granite Falls and
Arlington. From Arlington, head east on Hwy 530 and turn right onto
Arlington Heights Rd (signed for Granite Falls). In about a half a
mile, turn right onto Jordan Road and follow it for a few miles until you
see Terrace Falls Rd on the right. The falls can be seen through the
trees from here. If you happen to know someone who lives on this
private road, you can probably get a better view. |
