Barometer Creek runs over a seemingly never-ending series of waterfalls and cascades as it makes its journey from the slopes of Barometer Mountain to the North Fork of the Nooksack.  Along the way, it drops over three major waterfalls.  The upper falls consists of about 50' worth of cascades, followed by a 20' plunging drop.  There is a strong possiblity that there is more to this waterfall above what I have seen, but the cliff surrounding the creek was getting very steep and difficult to navigate.  I wouldn't recommend visiting this waterfall.  The journey in is physically demanding as well as fairly dangerous and the waterfall at the end is definitely not worth the effort.  Find a better waterfall in the area to visit instead.

DIRECTIONS - From Middle Mercury Falls, continue climbing alongside the canyon, getting steeper and steeper as it goes.  When you see a tributary stream join the main creek from the left (your side of the canyon), you'll have to climb down, cross that stream, and then climb up the other side.  The falls are right around the corner, but you'll have to make a trechorous climb down to the creek to get a view.
