White Salmon Falls is a fairly significant waterfall that begins its life at the toe of the White Salmon Glacier on Mt. Shuksan. Almost immediately the newly-formed White Salmon Creek horsetails somewhere around 75' before finishing amid a pile of boulders. The falls are fairly easy to see from the Highway (much easier when coming back down from Heather Meadows) and a slightly closer view should be possible from the White Salmon Ski Area. It's probably possible to get right up to the falls if you want to work hard enough, but there are better waterfalls you can get to for that amount of effort. I'll try to get a slightly better picture in the near future.

DIRECTIONS - Drive east on the Mt. Baker Highway to the White Salmon Ski Area. Park at the gate and walk up the road to the ski area. The falls should be visible by looking towards Mt. Shuksan. | |
