Brown Creek drops over a small waterfall just upstream from a now closed logging road. The road was actually closed when Brown Creek washed it out just downstream. The waterfall is not particularly pretty, but it's impressive the way the creek has cut itself into the cliff. Interestingly, this appears to be a brand new waterfall, created at the same time that the road was washed out. I checked upstream in this location before the washout and didn't see anything, but there is certainly a small waterfall there now. |
DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions to Falls Creek Falls. A short distance passed the gate,
Brown Creek has washed out the road (it's extremely obvious). Scramble
upstream for a couple hundred feet to the falls. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Falls Creek Falls, Lower Peek A Boo Falls, Peek A Boo Falls |
