Cedar Hollow Falls is an absolutely amazing waterfall located in a deep, dark, moss covered grotto that is full of big cedar trees. This has to be considered one of the most photogenic falls in Northwest Washington, if not the entire state. It seems to be impossible to take a bad shot of this falls. The main section of the falls consists of back-to-back plunges totaling around 75'. Above this are several smaller drops bringing the total to 126'. I really recommend anyone heading over the pass take a few minutes to hike down to this wonderful waterfall.

DIRECTIONS - Drive
east on Highway 20 and park at the Ross Dam Trailhead. Follow the trail for a few
hundred feet to the crossing of Happy Creek. A small sliding drop can be seen above
the bridge and the top of the main falls can be seen below. Continue on the trail
down the hill to where the falls can be seen through the trees. Head into the woods
for a few feet to clear views of the falls. I had to wade across the creek for my
pictures. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Happy Creek Falls, Strandberg Falls |
