Cougar Hollow Falls is a very small, fairly ugly waterfall located just off the old Mountain Loop Highway.  The waterfall can be seen from the car, and that's probably the best way to view it.  Don't go out of your way to visit this little waterfall, but if you're already driving down the road you can't miss it.  The waterfall is named after the old Cougar Hollow Ranger Station that existed in this area when this was the original Mountain Loop Highway.

DIRECTIONS - Drive south from Darrington along the Mountain Loop Highway. Turn left onto FR 24/22 at the White Chuck Boat Launch.  Stay on the main road until it reaches a T and then turn right onto FR 22.  The small waterfall is located at mile post 6.5.
