Flatrock Falls is a seasonal waterfall located along the Perry Creek Trail. An unnamed creek drops about 600' down an remarkably flat rock face on the northwest side of Mt. Dickerman (hence the name Flatrock Falls). By July the falls are usually really close to dry. I measured the falls as standing 598' tall on my most recent trip but I find that height to be fairly unlikely. I'll double check it next time I hike the trail. |
DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions to Pitchfork Falls. A little over a
mile along the trail, Flatrock Falls can be seen on the southeast side of the valley
dropping off the side of Mt. Dickerman. It's a little tough to spot but there is one
spot in particular where the falls can be seen fairly clearly. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Perry Creek Falls, Pitchfork Falls, North Dickerman Falls |
