Humpback Falls is the second of the 5 major waterfalls as you hike up the Lake 22 trail. Here 22 Creek crashes and slides down a rock face with a little concave dip in the middle created the "hump". The falls are segmented, with the left hand segment being the easily viewed section. The very bottom of the right segment can be seen in my picture, joining the creek just above the tree over the creek. |
DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Mossy
Rock Falls. Continue along the trail for another 1/4 mile past the
bridge until the falls can be heard and seen from the trail. A short
boot path leads to a clear view just off the trail. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Confusion Falls, Humpback Falls, Hundred Step Falls, Mossy Rock Falls |
