This is a very pretty little waterfall just off of Highway 2 near the town of Grotto. The creek drops over two drops and dumps into a big mess of logs at the end. It's pretty tough to get a real good view of the falls, but I found a great spot on top of a large rock on the left side of the creek to take some pictures. With the ease of reaching the falls and the close proximity to Highway 2, there's no reason why you shouldn't visit this one next time you're in the area. |
DIRECTIONS - Drive east along Highway 2 from Index. Along the route, the
highway goes through one tunnel. Keep your eyes open after the tunnel.
You will cross over two small creeks, the second one about .4 miles from the
tunnel. Park at the turnout and head upstream along the creek a couple hundred feet to the falls. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Bridal Veil Falls, Eagle Falls |
