LOWER TAYLOR FALLS |

RATING - 18.0
VR - 8 (Big) HR - 1.0 SR - 10/20 TYPE OF APPROACH - Trail DIFFICULTY - Easy LOCATION - Taylor River Area TYPE - Block HEIGHT - 10' WIDTH - 80' |
This is a small drop along the Taylor River but is fairly impressive, dropping across a wide breadth of the river. When the water is higher this falls just kind of looks like a big rapid. |
DIRECTIONS - Drive
east on I-90 and turn off at exit 34 (Edgewick Road). Turn left and drive north for
about half a mile, turning right onto FR 57 (Middle Fork Road). Head down the road
for around 12 miles to the end of the road, avoiding the turn towards the Middle Fork
Trailhead along the way. Head down the trail for a short distance until you see a
boot path heading towards the river. Cross over one small channel of the river onto
an island where the falls can be seen. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Big Creek Falls, Marten Creek Falls, Otter Falls |
