Big Creek pours down the mountainside and drops under the old concrete bridge along the Taylor River Trail. The low angle of the falls makes it difficult to see very much, but when the creek is running high it is an impressive site and a great place to enjoy lunch before heading back to the car. |
DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions to Marten Creek Falls. Continue
along the trail for another mile or so until it crosses a huge concrete bridge with the
falls tearing down right next to it. Views of upper portions of the falls are
possible by climbing up the hillside next to the falls. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Dog Mountain Falls, Lower Taylor Falls, Marten Creek Falls, Otter Falls, Upper Marten Creek Falls |
