MIDDLE CHERRY CREEK FALLS

RATING - 18.0

VR - 6 (Med)               HR - 1.0                  SR - 12/20

TYPE OF APPROACH - Roadside

DIFFICULTY - Very Easy

LOCATION - Duvall Area

TYPE - Segmented

HEIGHT - 9'

WIDTH - 30'

Putting this waterfall on the site is a bit of a stretch.  The waterfall occurs where Cherry Creek drops about 9' over a stretch of about 30' wide.  I included the falls because it's on a large creek and in an area with several other waterfalls.  Don't expect an amazing waterfall, but if you're in the area, it's worth a quick look.

DIRECTIONS - The logging roads in this area are a bit of a mess so I recommend taking a map and planning your route ahead of time.  Drive south on 203 from Monroe and turn left onto Cherry Valley Rd.  Drive along this for several miles and turn right at the T in the road.  Shortly after, turn left onto the Cherry Valley Truck Trail/Stossel Creek Rd NE.  In another couple of miles the road will turn to the right with a gated road heading to the left.  Take the right fork and keep your eyes open to your right.  The falls will be visible in a few hundred feet where the road crosses Cherry Creek.  I'll try to get more accurate directions next time I'm in the area.
