Upper Cherry Creek Falls has the potential to be an unbelievably photographic waterfall.  Unfortunately, various storms over the past several years have dumped an amazing amount of trees into the creek below the falls.  So much so in fact, that the waterfall can really only be seen from above and even that view is questionable.  Until these trees clear out (maybe somewhere around the year 2090), I wouldn't recommend visiting this waterfall unless you are planning to visit Cherry Lake.

DIRECTIONS - Park at the junction just north of Middle Cherry Creek Falls and walk north along the gated road for about 1/4 of a mile.  Turn right on the first road and then take another right in another 1/4 of a mile.  Follow this road for around 1/2 a mile to the crossing of Cherry Creek.  The falls are just upstream and can be seen from the bridge.
