North Fork Falls is a big, powerful falls that occur where the North Fork of the Sauk River gets squeezed through a small gap and shot out into a pool at the bottom.  The resultant spray seems to drench everything within a mile radius.  Getting to the falls requires a very short trail from the parking lot to a viewing platform complete with a sitting bench.  The sheer power of the falls make it a must see visit for waterfall hunters in the area.

DIRECTIONS -   Take the Mountain Loop Highway to FR 49 (signed for North Fork Falls).  Drive for about 1 mile to the pullout and follow the trail down to the falls.
