Rachor Creek is essentially a never ending series of waterfalls so it's difficult to split it into individual falls. For the sake of naming, I consider Old Spur Falls to be the 25' plunge at the end of the spur road, the 30' drop visible above it, and the 10' slide that leaves the pool below the plunge. I suspect several more falls above these three and there are some big boys downstream a bit (see Rachor Falls). I plan on fully exploring this creek and all its falls in the near future. |
DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions for SMC Falls. Continue along the road for
a short distance until you see a mass of logs on the right. Climb over these logs
and head down the overgrown spur road. When it ends in around 3/4 of a mile, you
will be at the falls. Beginning on 1/1/2012, all visitors to the
Snoqualmie Tree Farm will need a $75 annual permit, making access to this
waterfall much more expensive. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Junction Falls, Lower SMC Falls, Rachor Falls, SMC Falls, Tailrace Falls |
