Rocky Creek is one creek that earns its name. The entire creek is covered with big boulders covered in moss. The cascades are a series of 4 drops totaling about 25' in height. What makes them so impressive is the size of Rocky Creek which is almost as big as Day Creek at the point where the two combine. The picture above shows the final two drops in the series. |
DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions to Madison Falls. At the place where
the road crosses Madison Creek, continue on down the road to its end at a gravel pit.
Follow a grown over road up around the pit to its end at the Rocky Creek canyon.
Head down the steep hill and then downstream towards Day Creek. Along the way
