Suiattle River Area

The Suiattle River heads on the east side of Glacier Peak and runs roughly west to join the Sauk River a few miles north of Darrington.  The road starts in Skagit County and eventually crosses the county line into Snohomish County a few miles down the road.  While most of the waterfalls we have documented thus far are located in Skagit County (see Suiattle River Road - Skagit County), there are a few in Snohomish County as well.  Expect this number to increase as access into the area gets easier.  The road is currently closed part of the way along its route, but repairs are being made and, when complete, will open up the Glacier Peak Wilderness to visitors on a much easier basis.
