Suiattle River Road - Skagit County

The Suiattle River heads on the east side of Glacier Peak and runs roughly west to join the Sauk River a few miles north of Darrington.  The road starts in Skagit County and eventually crosses the county line into Snohomish County a few miles down the road.  Luckily for Skagitonians, there are several nice waterfalls located along the road before that happens.  Be sure to check out the Suiattle River Area - Snohomish page before you head into the area so you don't miss those waterfalls while in the area.  The road is currently closed part of the way along its route, but repairs are being made and, when complete, will open up the Glacier Peak Wilderness to visitors on a much easier basis.
