Devil Falls is a small waterfall located on Finney Creek that is sort of Northwest Washington's answer to the world famous Punchbowl Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. The creek drops over two back-to-back ten foot tall punchbowls, finishing in one of the most gorgeous pools of water I've ever seen. I suspect this would make an amazing swimming hole in the summer time. The falls and nearby Angel Falls were named by the Janicki family who discovered gold on Finney Creek in decades past. |
DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions to Big Fir Falls. Continue along Finney
Creek Road for another couple miles and take the first left you come to. The road
crosses Finney Creek very shortly. Park at the second pullout on the left (2nd
fire pit) and head downhill to the creek. The falls are only about 100' from the
road. A short, steep climb is required to reach the creek itself. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Angel Falls, Big Fir Falls, Washington Falls |
