DIRECTIONS - Head to Middle Bear Creek
Falls. The lower falls is located about 500' downstream, but
you'll have to drop about 200' in the process. Walk back down the road
to the corner where the hill below the road is not as steep and head into
the woods towards the creek. You will have to scramble down some steep
hills, past some enormous old stumps, but you should hear and see the falls. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Bear Creek Falls, McCarty Falls, Middle Bear Creek Falls |

This
is the final waterfall on Bear Creek as it near Spada Lake. The
waterfall begins with a 10' plunge before sliding another 10' in a cool
little ramp that launches the creek off the
cliff and into a small pool at the bottom. It's possible to get right
to the base of the falls by reaching the creek downstream and then
rock-hopping up to the falls. There is also a nice, although a little
sketchy, view from the hillside above the creek. Were it not for a
mess of logs and boulders near the base, this would be a gorgeous waterfall.
It's still pretty nice and helps alleviate the pain of not seeing Bear Creek
Falls a little.
