Forest Glen Falls used to be one of the prettiest little waterfalls anywhere. Unfortunately, a recent storm blew several ugly trees across the front of the falls. It will take years for nature to clean up this mess. Luckily, the stream has a bigger waterfall just downstream from the road that managed to remain unscathed by the storm. Lower Forest Glen Falls spreads out around a curved cliff face and plunges in a 76' tall curtain of water, surrounded by green moss. On the right side of the falls is a massive, craggy rock that looks like it could fall over at any moment. Getting to the falls involves a short, but pretty steep scramble down the hillside next to the creek. The trip is worth it to get a view of the lovely waterfall though. |
DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions to Forest Glen Falls. The Lower
Falls are located on the right side of the road down the hill. Head down the steep
hillside on the east side of the creek for about 130 vertical feet until you can get over
to the creek for a clear view. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Barrett Creek Falls, Goblin Falls, Hard Creek Falls, Irene Creek Falls, Forest Glen Falls, Mystery Falls |
