Lower Mazama Lake Falls is a two-stepped 30' tall waterfall located  about halfway between Mazama Lake and the streams convergence with Wells Creek proper.  Getting a clear view should be possible by reaching the creek bed downstream where the cliffs are less steep and then rock-hopping upstream.  From what I've seen, this is probably a very pretty waterfall from the bottom.   It's certainly not worth the trouble of visiting just for this waterfall, but if you're already visiting Mazama Falls, this one isn't too far out of the way.

DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Mazama Lake Falls.  This waterfall is located a short distance downstream.  Because of the steepness of the hillside around the lakes, you'll have to go back up the trail a little way, bushwhack down the hill, and then cut over to the creek.
