Based on the Topo maps, there's a pretty good chance that this is a pretty tall waterfall (over 200'). The part that can be seen from the road consists of the 32' tall fan and the 80' tall segmented drop above it with a little set of cascades in between. The upper tier is interesting with the majority of the water dropping over the left side in a funky s-shaped drop that fans out on its way down, before turning 90 degrees and cascading down to meet the right half. It's possible to climb up the side of the bottom tier to get a better view of the top but taking pictures from up there would require a fisheye lens. The fan shaped drop next to the road is very photogenic. |
DIRECTIONS - This
waterfall is located right next to Segelsen Road. Get on the road from either the
Darrington area or from Finney-Cumberland Road. The falls are located about 1 mile
