STICKNEY FALLS |
RATING - 26.0
|
Stickney Falls is a somewhat disappointing waterfall that drops into Olney Creek Valley from the south side. It's a nice waterfall, but the large cliff above the falls led me to believe there was a large upper tier above. Unfortunately, there is not. The waterfall drops 55' in three tiers: a 28' plunge, a 21' tall fan, and a 6' little cascade. Below that the creek continues to drop - sometimes over bedrock, sometimes over boulders - but I elected not to include those drops in to height. The waterfall can also be seen distantly from the high road on the north side of the valley but from there it certainly isn't very impressive. |
