RATING - 28.0
VR - 8.0 (Big) HR - 2 SR - 12/20 TYPE OF APPROACH - Trail DIFFICULTY - Medium LOCATION - Boulder River Wilderness TYPE - Cascades HEIGHT - 40' WIDTH - 60' |
Boulder Falls isn't the prettiest waterfall around but it is impressive seeing the Boulder River tear through the massive, moss covered boulders. During lower water periods the falls become much less impressive. |
DIRECTIONS - Drive
east of Arlington on HWY 530 for 19 miles to French Creek Road. Follow the pothole
filled road for about 4 miles to the trailhead. About 3/4 of a mile down the trail,
find a boot path heading downhill towards the river where the falls can be seen. If
you get to the switchbacks you've gone too far. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Feature Show Falls, French Creek Falls, Half Mile Falls, Meditation Falls, Preshow Falls, Wheeler Falls |
