Johannesburg
Falls is the largest of the many small volume falls coming off Johannesburg
Mountain. The small stream drops a total of around 2400', making it one of
the tallest waterfalls in North America. While the height is amazing, the
small volume of water makes this waterfall sort of a footnote to the beauty
of the Cascade Pass area. |
DIRECTIONS - Drive
up Cascade River Road for about 20 miles. Johannesburg Falls can be seen across the
valley for a the last few miles of the road. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Boston Creek Falls, Cascade Basin Falls, Gilbert Falls, Morning Star Falls, Roush Creek Falls, Soldier Boy Falls, Torment Falls |
