Lower Mazama Falls is a series of bedrock cascades located on Wells Creek about halfway between massive Mazama Falls and Wells Creek Falls.  The falls total around 40' in height and about 80' long.  It's really not worth the trouble to view unless you're heading to Mazama Falls, but I would HIGHLY recommend coming in from above if you wish to do that.  As you can see, the water of Wells Creek is a gorgeous color through here and the area around the cascades is extremely beautiful but the difficulty of getting here puts it out of reach for almost anyone.

DIRECTIONS - I don't recommend trying to reach this waterfall but if you really want to, drive up the Mt. Baker Highway and turn onto Wells Creek Road (signed for Nooksack Falls).  In around 6 miles the road crosses over Wells Creek.  Head into the woods and up above Wells Creek Falls.  Lower Mazama Falls is reached in around a mile and Mazama Falls in around 2 miles but it is extremely tough going and it would be easier to reach Mazama Falls from above.
