Foss River Area
The Foss River heads high in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness and runs for about 12 miles north to join the Tye River near the town of Skykomish. At the convergence of the two rivers, the Skykomish River begins. All of the waterfalls we have documented so far as located in the West Fork area of the Foss River. There are several more waterfalls in the drainage and surely many along the East Fork of the river as well.
